Are you an experienced assembly professional with a passion for precision engineering? We're looking for a skilled Assembly Operative to join our Basildon team and help build high-quality aircraft components for global customers.

Key Responsibilities
As an Assembly Operative, you will:
- Assemble aircraft components to customer specifications and engineering standards
- Use hand and air tools, including solid riveting tools, drills, rivet guns, and rivet presses
- Perform visual inspections and ensure all products meet quality requirements
- Use Verniers and other precision measuring tools
- Adjust sheet metal parts for accurate assembly
- Work with different materials, finishes, and aerospace sealants
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and engineering specifications
- Uphold excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Produce precise, high-quality finished engineering products
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone with:
- Strong aerospace or engineering manufacturing background
- Hands-on experience with solid riveting and air tools
- Skilled use of measuring tools (e.g., Verniers)
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and assembly techniques
- A commitment to quality, accuracy, and safe working practices
- A proactive, flexible approach and good problem-solving abilities
