Overview

The Key Account Manager will oversee a portfolio of essential cleaning contracts, ensuring service excellence and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Managing and developing relationships with key clients. Understanding their needs and requirements and developing strategies to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring KPIs and ensuring all contractual requirements are met.
  • Conducting monthly site audits and reporting outcomes.
  • Supporting, training, and leading onsite cleaning teams.
  • Collate accurate payroll information for each contract site to include hours worked, confirming rates of pay, submitting all new starter and training forms, and notifying the payroll department of any leavers or changes in a timely manner.
  • Providing on-site cleaning cover when necessary (holidays/absences).
  • Ensuring compliance with company standards and health & safety procedures.
  • Handling service issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for your staff, supporting them, and be responsible for addressing and resolving all issues that may arise.
Qualifications
  • Cleaning industry experience.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy workload.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet business needs
  • Experience managing commercial or educational cleaning contracts.

Other Requirements
  • Full, clean driving license.
  • Able to drive / travel to different sites daily and handle cleaning equipment on a frequent basis.
  • Live within commuting distance of the region.
  • Able and willing to work unsocial hours, as necessary.
  • A satisfactory Enhanced CRB disclosure is essential.
