Are you a qualified Electrical or Mechanical Technician with hands‑on experience in complex estates plant? Join our Estates Engineering Team and play a pivotal role keeping our Trust's critical services running 24/7. You'll work on a shift rota with on‑call duties, tackling Planned Preventative Maintenance, emergency breakdowns and installations across multiple sites.

What You'll Bring o Recognised Electrical or Mechanical Technician qualification o Significant practical experience working independently on a broad range of estates plant and systems o Proven ability to escalate serious issues to management when required o Excellent technical knowledge of specifications, drawings and manuals o Flexibility to travel across multiple Trust sites in your own/Trust vehicle o Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise under pressure o Commitment to health, safety and high‑quality workmanship o Team member with shared goals of improvement, development and excellence.

What You'll Do o Operate on a shift system plus on‑call, responding to breakdowns and job requests both day and night o Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and in‑depth fault‑finding on generators, fire alarms, lighting and power, distribution boards, boilers, air‑handling units, chiller plant, medical gas systems, calorifiers and hot & cold‑water networks o Perform installations and refurbishments of building fabrication o Evaluate and respond effectively to emergency situations, prioritising safety for patients, staff and the público Conduct and document your own risk assessments for medium and high‑risk tasks o Ensure strict compliance with Trust policies, statutory standards and health & safety legislation

• Relevant practical experience and either ONC Elec/Mech or HNC Elec/Mech or equivalent technical qualification

• Supporting information demonstrates knowledge of electrical/mechanical/building services legislation.
• Supporting information and/or work history demonstrates knowledge of Health Technical Memorandums
