Staff Nurse - Acute Medical Unit Basildon Hospital

Acute Medical Unit at Basildon Hospital is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our dedicated and supportive team. • To clinically give and receive the patient centred handovers.
• Ensuring that all drug administration in accordance with Legal and Trust Directorate Policies and procedures, assist with safe Custody, storage and Control of all drugs at ward level.
• Ensuring that the discharge planning process starts on admissions to prevent delays and make good utilisation of Unit beds.

• Full NMC Registration
• Nursing Qualification
• Willing to work towards a higher qualification, certificate/diploma

• Significant experience in AMU
• Evidence of experience handling emergencies

• Customer Care Skills
