We are working with primary schools in Basildon needing flexible Teaching Assistants to provide classroom support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. This role suits anyone looking for day-to-day, short-term, or ongoing work, depending on availability.

• As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils either one-to-one or in small groups, assist the class teacher during lessons, and help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• You may also provide general classroom support and help manage behaviour in line with school policies.
• Working hours are typically 8:30am to 3:30pm.

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting
• A calm, patient, and supportive approach
• Confidence supporting learning and behaviour in the classroom
• The ability to adapt quickly to new schools and routines
• A reliable and professional attitude
• An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
