Design Manager

We are looking to hire a Design Co-Ordinator to join a reputable Façade specialist sub-contractor based in Essex, near Laindon.

The company specialise in new build façade and recladding schemes and therefore the candidate must have previous façade experience.

The main role of a design co-ordinator will be the establishment of design protocols and clear communication of expectations and deliverables with our subcontract designers.

They will be responsible for the delivery of fully co-ordinated design and production information and must monitor design progress throughout the contract.

They must review the subcontract design to ensure it meets our proposals (and the clients brief) prior to issuing this information to the clients design team (architect, consultants etc) for review and approval.

They will be expected to attend design progress meetings, handle the document management, including the distribution of design information.

A Bsc or Msc in façade engineering would be a plus, however is not essential.
