Our Customer

We are recruiting exclusively on behalf of our client, an established international travel brand entering its next phase of European growth. With a strong presence in other global markets, the business is now launching its new hub in Switzerland and building its regional structure from the ground up. This is a pivotal stage in their expansion, focused on putting strong commercial and technical foundations in place across Europe.

They are now seeking a Head of European Sales to take full responsibility for regional revenue growth, priority market development and trade expansion. This role carries genuine visibility and influence within the global organisation.

Job Description

In this role you will take full ownership of establishing and expanding the organisation’s presence across Europe, building the commercial foundations of the region from the ground up and driving sustainable B2B growth.

  • Develop and deliver the European commercial strategy, setting clear direction and performance targets
  • Operate autonomously in the initial phase, identifying priority markets and securing high‑value trade partnerships
  • Build and manage strong relationships with tour operators, OTAs and key B2B partners across multiple territories
  • Drive revenue growth while strengthening brand visibility within the European travel trade
  • Work closely with international colleagues and the European Distribution & Connectivity Lead to ensure partnerships are commercially and operationally aligned
  • Represent the organisation at major trade events and industry forums across the region
  • Provide structured market insight, performance reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
  • Establish processes, frameworks and long‑term expansion plans for Europe
  • Recruit, develop and lead a regional sales team as the business scales
Experience Required
  • Fluent in English and an additional European language
  • Must have 10+ years in travel sales, ideally cruise, luxury travel or tour operators
  • Proven success growing new markets and scaling regional operations
  • Experience managing multi‑country European territories and reporting to international leadership
  • Established network within European travel trade
  • Comfortable working independently in a start‑up or launch environment
  • Hands‑on experience building and leading sales teams
