Headquartered near Basel, this innovative organisation is redefining how neurodegenerative disease R&D is measured and accelerated — empowering partners to make better, faster clinical decisions with advanced digital endpoints. We are recruiting a Director, Business Development / Sales to drive commercial success across pharmaceutical, biotech, and academic collaborations.

This role is about partnering at the interface of precision medicine and drug development
. You will help accelerate the adoption of novel digital endpoints and biomarkers that support better clinical outcomes and de-risk early neuroscience trials, addressing critical unmet needs in diseases such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and related disorders.
- Pipeline Generation & Opportunity Development
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build a predictable, high-quality top-of-funnel pipeline across target segments
- Execute prospecting and outreach plans aligned with global BD strategy
- Lead outreach campaigns, introductory calls, and scientific needs assessments
- Partner with global BD leadership to develop compelling proposals and win new business
- Contribute pricing, scoping, feasibility, and SOW inputs
- Ensure seamless handoffs to Clinical Operations once deals are secured
- Identify expansion opportunities with existing clients
- Capture and share customer insights to inform product development and trial endpoint strategies
- Work with Medical Affairs and Marketing to map stakeholders, engage KOLs, and support conference initiatives
- Maintain rigorous CRM use and adherence to structured sales processes
- Track and report KPIs (lead conversion, activity levels, opportunity progression)
- Provide weekly updates on pipeline health, customer engagements, and sales forecasts
- Relevant Swiss working/residency permit and/or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required;
- 4–8+ years in business development or sales within CROs, digital biomarker companies, clinical tech vendors, or neuroscience-focused R&D organisations
- Strong track record in generating and advancing sales pipelines in biotech/pharma
- Deep understanding of clinical development and scientific technologies
- Comfortable translating complex scientific and technical concepts into commercial conversations
- Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building and organisational skills
- Experience in proposal development, pricing models, and SOW structures
- Willingness to travel up to ~25%
- Existing network in biotech and neuroscience R&D
