You will join the Analytical Research & Development group within Synthetic Molecules Technical Development (PTDC) - a team responsible for the analytical method development that enables safe, high‑quality drug substances and products for clinical trials.
This role focuses on analytical development for synthetic oligonucleotides
, contributing directly to the release and control strategy of novel therapies.
- Perform routine analytical measurements for oligonucleotides, primarily using HPLC (UV / Single Quad MS).
- Plan, execute, and document experiments in close collaboration with a team of five laboratory associates.
- Operate analytical instruments using Empower or Open Lab chromatography data systems.
- Evaluate and interpret data using Genedata or Oligo Analysis Accelerator
. - Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for oligonucleotide quality assessment.
- Work in full compliance with GxP standards and internal SOPs.
Haves
- Completed vocational scientific training (e.g., apprenticeship as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Chemielaborant).
- 2-3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (no Bachelor/Master/PhD).
- Hands‑on experience with HPLC and MS (required).
- Strong interest or direct experience in oligonucleotide analytics
. - Quality-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with GxP requirements across clinical development phases.
- Proactive, open-minded, team-oriented working style.
- Good command of English (German is a plus).
- Knowledge of LCMS applications and instruments.
- Experience with large molecule / biologics analytics
