Authentifield Validation scientist
Duration: 2 years
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our chemo metric models, reviewing field test results, supporting laboratory experiments, and conducting comprehensive data analysis using Jupyter Notebook. The Validation scientist will collaborate closely with Pharm
INT associates and other stakeholders to develop, build, or continuously review the requirements for both Authentifield and Pharm
INT. All duties must be performed in strict adherence to our high standards for technical excellence, environmental compliance, and health and safety regulations.
Major Activities & Accountabilities
- Validation of Chemometric Models:
Conduct thorough validation tests on chemo metric mod-els to ensure their accuracy and reliability. This includes designing validation protocols, exe-cuting tests, and analyzing results. Maintain detailed documentation of validation processes, including validation protocols, sample materials, and test results. Continuously improve vali-dation methodologies to enhance model performance and robustness. - Review of Field Test Results:
Analyze and review results from field tests conducted with Au-thentifield sensors. Ensure that the results meet the required standards and provide insights for improvement. Collaborate with field teams to address any discrepancies or issues identi-fied during the review process. Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing field test find-ings and recommendations for further action. - Support of Laboratory Experiments:
Collaborate with laboratory teams to support and exe-cute experiments related to the validation of chemo metric models. This includes preparing experimental setups, conducting tests, and analyzing experimental data. Ensure timely and accurate completion of laboratory tasks and maintain meticulous records of experimental procedures and results. Provide technical support and guidance to laboratory personnel as needed. - Data Analysis:
Develop and use Jupyter Notebook for data analysis. This involves writing and executing Python scripts to process and analyze large datasets, visualize data trends, and generate meaningful insights. Interpret and present data findings to support decision-making processes. Continuously explore and implement new data analysis techniques to enhance the quality and efficiency of data analysis workflows. - Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management.
Ideal Background
- Education (minimum/desirable):
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Data Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience in chemo metric model validation and data analysis.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with Jupyter Notebook.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical supply chains is a plus.
- Familiarity with falsified medicines detection technologies and methodologies.
- Understanding of data privacy and security standards.
- Strong documentation skills, including creating detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.
