The wide range of services offered supports our customers in all areas of passenger inland waterway transport: shipping company management, crew management, nautical/technical management, hospitality & catering services, safety & security, ship financing, charter brokerage, insurance management, newbuild & conversion support and ship ICT services.

• Overall responsibility for the operational implementation and further development of all HR processes and projects within the River Advice Group.
• Management and development of the HR team.
• Ensuring efficient processes and implementation of Group guidelines.
• Implementation of personnel planning and recruitment for crew and shore-based staff.
• Further development of the internal talent hub.
• Optimisation of personnel deployment planning and cost control.
• Design and implementation of salary structures, career paths and incentive systems.
• Responsibility for payroll, benefits and social security programmes.
• Harmonization and digitisation of HR processes within River Advice.
• Contact person for labour law issues and trade unions.
• Development and implementation of training, development and junior programmes.
• Maintenance and updating of the organizational structure and employee master data.
• Preparation and monitoring of the HR budget and introduction of cost controlling and reporting.

• Several years of operational HR management experience, ideally in an international environment.
• Experience in implementing HR projects and change processes.
• Very good knowledge of HR IT systems and data management.
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and team leadership skills.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English (business language).
