Job Description
As Implementation Workstream Lead, you will act as the central orchestrator for the end-to-end deployment across affiliates. You will drive execution excellence while maintaining strong stakeholder alignment at both global and local levels.
Your main responsibilities include- Owning and managing the integrated rollout strategy and master implementation plan
- Coordinating timelines, dependencies and sequencing across affiliates and functions
- Leading distributed implementation squads in a matrix organization
- Driving go‑live readiness, including cutover planning and hyper‑care transition
- Managing program‑level risks, issues and escalations
- Ensuring alignment between business, IT and change work streams
- Acting as the key interface between affiliate leadership and central program governance
You will ensure that global standards are maintained while allowing for necessary local adaptations.
About the customerFor a global pharmaceutical leader based in Basel, we are looking for an experienced Implementation Workstream Lead to support a large‑scale enterprise transformation program within Customer Engagement.
About the programOver the past years, the organization has significantly strengthened its customer engagement capabilities through strategic transformation initiatives across people, processes and technology. As part of the next evolution, a global program has been launched to enable a more integrated, data‑driven and customer‑centric engagement model across all affiliates worldwide.
The Implementation Workstream Lead will play a key role in ensuring the successful rollout of the new global customer engagement platform across markets.
Project Details- Start: ASAP (latest April 2026)
- Duration: 2.5 years (extension possible)
- Location:
Basel (minimum 2 days onsite per week) - Workload: 100%
- University degree in Business, IT or a related discipline
- 5-7 years of experience in large‑scale program deployment or complex technology implementations
- Strong experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or life sciences industry
- Proven matrix leadership of cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams
- Solid experience in stakeholder engagement at senior management level
- Hands‑on mindset with strong problem‑solving capabilities
- Experience in change management and training delivery during system rollouts
- Fluent English (additional languages are an advantage)
- Willingness to travel internationally (≈20%)
