Senior Compliance Technology Lead

We are representing a Global Financial Institution based in Switzerland that is currently seeking a Senior Compliance Technology Lead to take ownership of business-critical compliance technology services within a highly regulated financial environment.

The ideal candidate will interact with business, compliance and IT stakeholders, ensuring the reliability, governance and continuous evolution of key financial services.

• Own, design and continuously enhance IT services supporting regulatory and compliance processes (e.g., client onboarding, KYC lifecycle, AML monitoring, transaction controls)
• Act as the central point of accountability between business stakeholders, compliance functions and IT delivery teams
• Ensure service stability, governance and operational excellence across incident, problem and change management
• Identify and mitigate service risks, including audit topics, access governance and regulatory controls
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and process optimization aligned with ITIL principles
• Define, monitor and report on service performance and SLAs
• Oversee external vendors and manage software maintenance and support agreements
• Maintain comprehensive service documentation and lifecycle transparency

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a comparable background (banking education also considered)
• Solid 7+ years of experience in IT Service Management within financial services and/or banking
• Strong understanding of regulatory-driven banking processes (e.g., KYC, AML, transaction monitoring, fraud prevention)
• Sound knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service governance models
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to prioritize in complex environments
• Confident communicator with stakeholder management experience across business and technical teams
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Fluency in English required;
  German and/or French are considered an advantage
