SAP BW Consultant​/Developer

eurpeople’s customer, a global leading organisation, is seeking an experienced SAP BW Consultant to join their ongoing assignment in Switzerland.

Overall, the project aims to consolidate all SAP BW installations from various regions into a central HANA platform, including migrating Web objects.

The SAP BW developer will carry out analytical activities, software development related to migration, and business analysis tasks.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Conduct analytical activities and develop software for migrating SAP BW Web Templates from 3.x to 7.x, with a focus on Web Templates 3.x development skills and business analysis.
• Understand requirements from existing Web Templates (3.x), upgrade to 7.x, and transport new objects to the new platform.
• Implement new 7.x functionalities using .js, where applicable, replacing previous 3.x functionalities.
• Identify and migrate Data Store Objects (DSOs) and queries necessary for Web Template operation.
• Perform unit testing on developed components, ensuring existing 3.x functionality and results are replicated in 7.x.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Extensive experience with Web Templates in 3.x and 7.x, especially SAP BW 7.4 on HANA.
• Experience with SAP Portal integration with BW and WAD Web Templates.
• ABAP development skills for SAP BW.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Business Analysis.
• Experience working within complex system landscapes with regional or local exceptions.
• Ability to perform unit testing independently.

Pharma experience is a PLUS.
