Permanent B1 EASA Licensed Engineer – VIP Base Maintenance (Switzerland)
We are working in partnership with our client, a highly reputable VIP aircraft maintenance organisation based in Switzerland, specialising in VIP and corporate jet maintenance. Due to continued growth, they are seeking experienced B1 EASA Licensed Engineers to join their Base Maintenance team on a permanent basis.
This is a Monday–Friday position with no shift rotation, offering an excellent work-life balance alongside competitive salary and relocation support.
The Role – Base VIP MaintenanceAs a B1 Licensed Engineer, you will act as Certifying Staff within a Part-145 maintenance organisation, supporting high-end VIP and corporate aircraft in a base maintenance environment.
Key Responsibilities- Act as B1 Certifying Staff within the Part-145 organisation
- Perform routine and non-routine base maintenance tasks
- Carry out inspections, structural repairs, engine and mechanical system maintenance
- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair and rectify airframe, engine and mechanical defects
- Certify and record all work in accordance with approved maintenance data and EASA regulations
- Liaise with internal Part-145 MRO and Part-21 departments regarding maintenance issues
- Support AOG events, including occasional travel away from base when required
- Maintain the highest standards of quality, safety and regulatory compliance
- Minimum 5 years’ practical base maintenance experience
- Holder of European EASA Part-66 Category B1 Licence
- 2–3 years’ experience as Certifying Staff
- Minimum 3 years’ certification experience on type

- Strong mechanical and structural troubleshooting capability
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Ability and flexibility to work in different environments, including VIP settings
- Strong awareness of quality, reliability and safety standards
