The Expert Contract Manager ensures the successful execution of complex industrial projects by overseeing subcontractor performance, managing claims, and negotiating contractual agreements. This role bridges commercial and technical teams to minimize risks, drive continuous improvement, and secure smooth project delivery from contract award to completion.

• Monitoring and controlling subcontractor performance
• Managing subcontractor claims, supplements, and change orders
• Negotiating and finalizing contractual agreements
• Collaborating with engineering, design, quality, planning, and project management
• Mitigating risks through proactive planning and communication
• Supporting contract compliance with Swiss OR and relevant SIA standards
• Providing commercial input during project planning and execution phases
• Driving continuous improvement through feedback and lessons learned
• Assisting in risk assessment and mitigation strategies across project lifecycle

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
• Appr. 10 years of experience in large-scale project management
• Solid knowledge of Swiss OR and SIA standards; VOB, BGB, HOAI standards are a plus
• Strong command of contract law and commercial project execution
• Proficient in claim and change management processes
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
