Senior Procurement specialist

Drive strategic procurement excellence and power seamless carve‑out transitions across critical indirect categories.

Proclinical is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to support procurement activities within indirect categories such as technology, logistics, professional services, and MRO. This role focuses on managing procurement processes during and post carve‑out activities, ensuring seamless transitions, cost optimization and alignment with organizational goals. The position requires strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and collaboration across departments.

• Support procurement activities related to carve-outs, including due diligence, planning, and execution.
• Ensure smooth transition and integration of systems and services during carve‑out activities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts, manage vendor performance, and ensure compliance with agreed terms.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Oversee the creation, negotiation, and management of contracts, ensuring compliance with policies and legal requirements.
• Analyze and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in indirect procurement categories.
• Implement strategies to optimize spend and enhance value.
• Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement, including supplier, contractual, and compliance risks.
• Collaborate with IT, automation, quality, finance, legal, and other departments to align procurement activities with organizational objectives.
• Develop and maintain procurement performance metrics and reports, providing insights and recommendations.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor management.
• Proven experience in managing procurement aspects of business divestments, including planning and execution.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with procurement software, ERP systems, and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strategic thinker with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Leadership and team collaboration capabilities.
• Adaptable and resilient under pressure.
