Junior Compliance Officer

Our client in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Junior Compliance Officer to join their team.

Your responsibilities:

• Support the maintenance and ongoing improvement of the global compliance programme, including policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Monitor regulatory developments relevant to the manufacturing sector and support implementation across the business
• Contribute to compliance risk assessments, internal reviews, and remediation activities
• Support the organisation's trade sanctions and export controls framework, including screening, due diligence, assessments, and escalation
• Advise internal stakeholders on sanctions-related matters and applicable regimes (e.g. EU, US, UK)
• Support internal compliance investigations, including fact-finding, documentation review, and reporting
• Coordinate with Legal, HR, and other relevant functions on compliance matters
• Deliver compliance training to business stakeholders (live and virtual) and support the development of training materials
• Act as a point of contact for day-to-day compliance queries from the business
• 2-5 years' experience in a compliance role, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial sector
• Educational background in law or business administration
• Hands on experience supporting a compliance programme in a regulated environment
• Exposure to trade sanctions and/or export controls
• Experience supporting internal compliance investigations
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
