Job PurposePerform regular accounting functions related to month and quarter-end close, preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Accounting
- Perform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements
- Prepare, record, analyze and report accounting transactions and ensure integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles
- Conduct or assist in the documentation of accounting projects
Monthly Tasks
- Calculate / reconcile / book advance payment (ARAB)
- Responsible for VAT returns/Intrastat reporting monthly
- Support treasure on cash management and IC clearance and review loan and interest postings
- Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable ledger accounts, financial statements, and reports
- Produce reports of accounts that are in arrears and analyses of bad debt
- Collect terms of payment on overdue account with corporate and individual clients
- Maintain, analyze and reconcile accounts payable ledger accounts, financial statements, and reports
- Prepare, record, analyze, and report on the Company’s inventory including analysis of obsolescence
- Run Fixed Assets Depreciations and Intangibles Amortization
- Manage Inventory, bookings, stock reconciliation, COGS, reserves and final reports
- Royalties and NHS postings
- Monthly sales reconciliation
- Responsible for intragroup alignment
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance and or equivalent work experience
Required Skills and Experience- Experience on General Accounting, Cost Accounting & Inventory, VAT, Tax with international Tax advisor
- Knowledge of auditing practices and principles
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principles
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with SAP S4 Hanna, Hyperion and Microsoft Power Point
- Experience with multi-currency
- Demonstrated ability to deliver quality results within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Highly motivated, innovative and driven, with a “can do” mindset
- Accurate with an attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Able to respond to short deadlines
- Personal and professional integrity are essential
- Goal-oriented, with ability to plan for the long-term and execute

Fluent English is essential, any other languages are a plus.
