EMEA Recruitment is proud to assist a fast-paced, international, industry-leading organization in its search for a Senior Accountant as they continue to expand their group consolidation team in Basel.

As the Senior Accountant, you'll join a growing team and have varied responsibilities in a dynamic environment. You’ll join an organization that supports your personal and professional development and will have the opportunity to work on some exciting and varied projects.

• In alignment with US GAAP and SOX, take the lead on monthly, quarterly and annual closing
• Prepare and reconcile financial documents, such as P&L statements, balance sheets and capital expenditure reports
• Work in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to provide high level financial support and drive business decisions
• Assist in assessing complex transactions and calculations
• Interpret US GAAP and draft technical accounting memos
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring audit readiness under SOX controls

• Ability to work in a fast-paced international environment
• Demonstrable experience in a similar level role
• Recognized accounting qualification
• Results-driven mindset
• Strong background of working with US GAAP
• English language skills at a professional working level
