    Bartow Regional Medical Center – 2200 Osprey Blvd, Bartow, FL
  • Status:
    Full Time
  • Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
  • Every other weekend required
  • On Call:
    No
  • Always in person

Requirements
  • RN (Registered Nurse) License
  • Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
  • 1 year registered nurse ER experience
  • BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
  • PALS certification with the American Heart Association
Responsibilities
  • Independently cares for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards
  • Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
  • Organizes and prioritizes the plan of care in collaboration with patients, family and significant others
  • Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares the room environment
  • Monitors, records, and updates care team on patient vitals and assessments
  • Identifies sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
  • Responds to medical emergencies for critical patients
  • High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience and simplifies medical terminology for the patient
  • Professional accountability and development
