Position: Substance Abuse/Mental Health Clinician

A full-time Substance Use Clinician to work with clients that are transitioning from incarceration back into the community. This position is located at our Bartow Work Release Center. We partner with the Department of Corrections to provide services to these individuals to help them with the best opportunity of re-entering back into our communities.

The client services to be provided range from individual counseling, group counseling, family and couples counseling.

Our ideal candidate will be compassionate, motivated, a team player, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, energetic, creative, understand the theories of behavior management and positive reinforcement, and represent yourself as a positive role model.

Minimum of a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 2 years experience with addictions or mental health. Master’s Degree and one year of experience. Bachelor’s in social sciences+ 6 months in substance abuse / mental health counseling. Bachelor’s in any field+ 1 year of experience in substance abuse / mental health counseling. Master’s in social sciences+ 6 months experience in sa/mh. Master’s in any field+ 1 year of experience in sa/mh.
