Woodard & Curran is growing, and we are looking for qualified, dual‑certified Water and Wastewater Treatment Operators in Bartow, FL! The Water/Wastewater Operator regularly participates in the daily operations and maintenance of the Treatment facilities as directed by the Project Manager. ResponsibilitiesEach day presents different challenges and learning opportunities as we work towards maintaining 100% compliance, achieved by daily process monitoring and a comprehensive maintenance system. - Regularly participates in the daily operations and maintenance of the Water and Wastewater Treatment Systems as directed by the Project Manager.
- Participates in an on‑call rotation on weekends, holidays and outside normal workday hours.
- Will be required to respond to emergencies or unpredicted situations.
- 2+ years’ experience working in a water production or wastewater treatment environment.
- A valid State of Florida motor vehicle operator's license.
- Must possess a minimum of a Florida Class C Water and/or Wastewater Treatment Operator license.
- Working knowledge of the principles, procedures, methods, equipment, materials, and tools employed in the operation' and maintenance of Wastewater Treatment and Water Production Systems.
- Thorough knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions involved in wastewater treatment work.
- Knowledge of computer applications.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.

Pay Range: $23 - $36 an hour, depends upon experience and certification.
