Woodard & Curran is growing, and we are looking for qualified, dual‑certified Water and Wastewater Treatment Operators in Bartow, FL! The Water/Wastewater Operator regularly participates in the daily operations and maintenance of the Treatment facilities as directed by the Project Manager. • Regularly participates in the daily operations and maintenance of the Water and Wastewater Treatment Systems as directed by the Project Manager.
• Participates in an on‑call rotation on weekends, holidays and outside normal workday hours.
• Will be required to respond to emergencies or unpredicted situations.

• 2+ years’ experience working in a water production or wastewater treatment environment.
• A valid State of Florida motor vehicle operator's license.
• Must possess a minimum of a Florida Class C Water and/or Wastewater Treatment Operator license.
• Working knowledge of the principles, procedures, methods, equipment, materials, and tools employed in the operation' and maintenance of Wastewater Treatment and Water Production Systems.
• Thorough knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions involved in wastewater treatment work.
• Knowledge of computer applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.

Pay Range: $23 - $36 an hour, depends upon experience and certification.
