Customer Specialist - NE Branch (01-2026) (Lake Alfred)

- Maintain a high standard of professional conduct and behavior.
- Work cooperatively with other employees and embrace teamwork to complete tasks.
- Perform data input; build traffic tickets; build/reopen civil and family cases; schedule hearings and issue pleadings.
- Analyze State Driver’s License information to confirm eligibility for license reinstatement; research records in CCIS.
- Issue marriage licenses, perform wedding ceremonies, process passport applications, and record official documents.
- Scan civil, family, criminal, traffic and official record pleadings.
- Maintain constant state of alertness and safe manner of work.
- Provide Domestic Relations printouts.
- Perform cashiering duties: collection of monies, posting to appropriate case, balancing funds and reporting daily.
- Multi‑task and perform other related work as required.
- Graduate of an accredited high school or possess an acceptable equivalency diploma.
- Knowledge of current procedures to accomplish tasks within the department’s workflow.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage work to meet necessary time requirements and workload.
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to read, research, and/or interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees; read and write English.
- Ability to operate a PC and related software applications.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic math skills.
- Accurate typing 30 wpm.
- Preferred: six months related job experience and/or training.
- Must have physical, developmental and mental ability to perform tasks; reasonable accommodations available.
- Regularly required to sit, use hands, talk or hear; frequently required to stand, walk, climb or balance; occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; must occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Specific vision: close view, distance view, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
