Developer - Hybrid

About The Role

We’re looking for a skilled PHP Developer with strong backend experience in Symfony and third‑party integrations to join our team. You’ll work closely with the Lead Developer and collaborate across teams to deliver high‑quality, testable code that drives our projects forward.

This is a Hybrid role based at Barton‑upon‑Humber, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

• Read, understand, and deliver on development tickets.
• Contribute to backlog refinement, technical refinement, and sprint planning.
• Write modular, test‑driven code with a focus on quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with testing and staging teams to ensure smooth releases.
• Take ownership of your work throughout the full development lifecycle.

Desired Skills and Knowledge:

• 2+ years’ experience with Object‑Oriented PHP
• Experience with modern frameworks (Symfony or Laravel)
• Proficiency with Composer, Git, HTML/CSS, and Java Script
• Knowledge of React or other frontend frameworks, Web Components, Type Script, LESS/SASS
• Experience with PHPUnit, Play Wright, Jenkins, Docker, and PHPStan
• Experience with PHP 8 and MySQL is preferred
