Materials Planner

We are looking for an experienced Materials Planner, based at our Head Office in Barton‑Upon‑Humber. The position is full‑time, working 5 days a week from Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:00.

• Plan and place purchase orders with suppliers based on previous usage and customer orders while adhering to suppliers’ lead times and shutdowns to ensure we have sufficient inventory levels across all sites.
• Support with all new products and work to ensure launch dates are met.
• Work with suppliers, transport and goods in to ensure all deliveries are made on time and in full. This may also involve expediting deliveries accordingly.
• Experience using ERP and MRP systems.
• Manage MOQs with suppliers and the Buyers omitting overstocking but maintaining appropriate safety stocks.
• Support with any NCRs to help eliminate and resolve issues as efficiently as possible.

• Previous Materials Planning experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities with internal departments and external suppliers.
• Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects and meet deadlines.
