Store Shift Lead

Job Summary

Murphy Oil USA, Inc. is hiring Shift Leads for full‑time and part‑time schedules at one of the largest national gasoline and convenience retailers. Immediate hiring is available.

• Providing a prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience
• Responding to and resolving customers’ requests and concerns
• Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions
• Operating the cash register
• Ensuring fuel and merchandise are available for customers
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations
• Helping lead the team to exceed the store’s performance goals and objectives
• Performing job‑related duties as assigned
• Providing backup duties in the absence of management, including completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, ensuring plan‑ogram compliance, ordering inventory, counting products, maintaining equipment, and training new employees

• Must be 18+ years of age (21 in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, Utah; 20 in Kentucky; 19 in Indiana)
• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience
• Minimum 3 months of cashier experience
• Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have dependable transportation

Shift Lead salary range: $11.75 – $12.25 per hour.
