What you’ll do- Be a Team Member:
Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and is flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas. - Be an Expert:
Demonstrates knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepare (cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) meat products to established standards; cut boneless meat; maintain product quality standards. - Be a Techie:
Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate engagement; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. - Be an Owner:
Maintains operational excellence; ensures quality and date control standards for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored per policies. - Be a Talent Ambassador:
Models high-quality service and products; exhibits energy, commitment, and passion for the work. - Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; follows Open Door Policy in executing business processes and practices.
- Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress and information; seeks continual improvement and adapts to change.
