Responsibilities
  • Coordinates patient care for assigned patients utilizing multi-disciplinary approach.
  • Develops plan of care for newly admitted patients and modifies as condition/needs change.
  • Delivers designated nursing interventions to assigned patients that are consistent with the stated medical plan of care.
  • Performs procedures in the specialty service area.
  • Documents nursing care accurately and completely in all assigned patient records. All patient related information is documented completely on appropriate forms.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Up to $10,000 Sign-on Bonus Based on Eligibility.

Role and Responsibilities

This role provides direct clinical patient care. The position will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis and at the unit level. The role includes supervision of staff to whom appropriate care is delegated and accountability to support the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Qualifications
  • Required:
    • Education:

      Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
    • Licensure/Certification:
      • RN with current applicable state licensure / permit
      • BLS - Certification required upon hire for all nursing positions
      • ACLS - Required within 3 months of hire for specified departments
    • CPI - Required within 3 months of hire for specified departments
    • PALS – Required within 3 months of hire for specified departments
    • NRP – Required within 3 months of hire for L&D, Mother/Baby, and NICU RNs
  • Preferred:
    • Education:

      Academic degree in nursing (Bachelor's or Master’s degree)
    • Knowledge of coordinating patient care using a multi-disciplinary approach
    • Ability to develop and modify plans of care as patient conditions change
    • Experience delivering nursing interventions in various specialty areas
    • Strong documentation skills and compliance with forms and records
    • Willingness to perform related duties as required
