Finish Tech Assembly; H

Summary:

Set-up, operate and maintain a variety of surface finishing and supporting equipment to effectively process products to specifications. Function as part of a quality motivated machining group to assure that the products meet the requirements of customers. Performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations to mass‑produce products by performing the following duties.

• Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together.
• Tends machines, such as arbor presses or riveting machine, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
• Works at different work stations as production needs require.
• Works on line where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along the line.
• Follows safety procedures accordingly.
• Responsible for deburr and finish operations on the appropriate jobs in the order needed to meet production schedules.
• Maintain time log for all work orders processed.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, internal sketches, and specifications provided by engineering.
• Perform quality work.

• Equivalent to high school education or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
