• Demonstrate extensive knowledge or significant experience in pharmacy procedures such as automated dispensing cabinet (ADC) optimization, sterile products compounding, terminal cleaning, inventory management, controlled substance management, and/or surgery pharmacy.
• Accurately fill and label medication orders with correct strength, dosage form, and quantity in a timely manner.
• Accurately stock and maintain ADCs; clean ADCs; destock expired medications from ADCs.
• Check medication rooms and patient bins for discontinued or expired medications and return them to pharmacy.
• Fill/refill emergency crash carts, boxes, and kits timely and accurately.
• Assist in performing various duties as assigned.
• Assist in dispensing functions, including purchasing, inventory control of all drug classes, sterile product preparation, and associated equipment maintenance.
• Maintain pharmaceutical dispensing functions for all patient populations, including neonate, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric, inpatients and outpatients.

• Education:
  
  High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  4 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
• Certifications:
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician license or Pharmacy Technician certification, as required by state law.
  • Accredited training in sterile products preparation and IV admixture certification.
