Company has been in business since 1982 providing fresh produce and other products to restaurants and other end users. We are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Driver CDL A Yard Jockey Spotter to work in our distribution warehouse in Bartlett, IL.

• Hourly wage of $25.75-$26.75 per hour, based on shift
• Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
• $5,000 Sign-on and retention bonus, paid quarterly.
• Typical work week is 45-50 hours per week
• Safety shoes required; $250 vouchers provided per year.

• Sunday-Friday, off Saturday and Tuesday. Two schedules to choose from:
  • NIGHTS:
    Start time 7pm, work until work is completed, typically 8-10 hours per day.
  • DAYS:
    Start time 9am, work until work is completed, typically 8-10 hours per day.
• Must be flexible with work schedule, work schedule may change based on business needs.

• Make 25-35 moves per day with straight-trucks and tractor-trailers using spotter trucks and day cabs.
• LOTS OF WALKING to and from overflow lots and yards in outdoor elements.
• Report mechanical issues, fueling, and checking reefer units.
• Backing tractor trailer and box trucks in and out of docks.
• Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
• Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers.

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License from state of Illinois.
• Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen.
• Must be able to drive a Manual Transmission. No Manual restrictions.
• Minimum 6 months of spotting experience highly preferred (some spotting experience required).
• Experience with yard horse and/or spotter truck highly preferred (some yard horse and/or spotter truck required).
• Familiar with Samsara systems a plus but will train.
• Able to be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.
• Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
• Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical.
• Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance.
