Hearthwood Senior Living is recruiting for a hospitality focused Driver to join our team! This position is responsible for transporting residents to shopping trips, weekly outings and extended trips as scheduled.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:- Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
- Transport residents to shopping trips and weekly outings Monday, Wednesday and Friday as well as medical trips on Tuesday and Thursday.
- Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
- Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
- Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
- Clean and wash vehicle.
- Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
- CDL Required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required
