Overview
Sr. Demand Planning Role for major manufacturing organization requiring experience in Consumer Packaged Goods or Food Manufacturing industries.
This position is responsible for understanding the characterization of demand and the application of appropriate statistical forecasting methods used in supply chain planning to create the operational demand forecast. Experience working with Demand-Planning tools and systems is imperative. Facilitating and working with various departments to help create and work within the S&OP process is necessary.
Other process responsibility includes facilitating the interpretation and selection of the best signal through DPI exception based demand planning, supporting the development of the aggregate forecast supporting the S&OP business planning process, and relationship management with Sales Planning organization. This position will be involved in the operational innovation of these processes, training and integration of processes into the operations, and as well as building fundamentally new demand management capabilities.
PositionResponsibilities
- Understand the characterization of demand and apply the appropriate forecast method to be used in supply chain planning.
- Understand and interpret all available signals in DPI exception based demand planning and coach supply chain planning community in selection and maintenance activities.
- Support the development of the aggregate forecast to support the S&OP business planning process.
- Identify operational innovation opportunities in process execution and planner development
- Develop and execute formal training.
- Responsible for analysis of appropriate KPIs and working with internal and external customers.
A minimum of 3-5 years experience in Demand planning in an Operations-based environment.
EducationBachelors Degree required or equivalent work experience. APICS certification or progress towards certification preferred. Masters Degree a plus, but not required.

Salary will be in the $110-$125K range, plus bonus, and excellent company benefits.
Role will be Hybrid in nature, with 3 days in the office, and 2 days working remotely.
