Licensed Child and Play Therapist

Health and Healing Therapy is growing, and we’re excited to add a Child Therapist to our team.

We are specifically seeking a clinician who is passionate about working with children and their families and who brings experience, depth, and expertise in one or more of the following:

• Child-Centered Play Therapy
• Sandtray Therapy or Expressive Arts
• Support for children with Autism, ADHD, and other forms of Neurodivergence
• Support for children of LGBTQIA+ families and/or LGBTQIA+ youth
• Parent coaching and family work to support children’s growth and emotional regulation

Our Practice

Health and Healing Therapy is a group practice in Bartlett, IL
, serving Bartlett, Streamwood, Schaumburg, Hanover Park, Elgin, South Elgin, St. Charles, West Chicago, and surrounding areas. We are located in the Chicagoland area in northern Dupage County Illinois, western Cook County Illinois, and eastern central Kane County Illinois.

We support children, teens, adults, seniors, families, couples, and groups
—in person and via tele-health. Our practice supports evidence-based care including :
ACT
DBT, CBT, ERP, EMDR, Brain spotting, Motivational Interviewing etc.

• At Health and Healing Therapy, our clinicians:
• Provide effective, high-quality psychotherapy
• Complete documentation in a timely and clinically appropriate manner
• Are available for day and evening hours or day, evening, and weekend hours

• Engage in case consultation and supervision
• Are highly motivated to learn and grow as therapists and continually seek ongoing clinical training

• Licensed in Illinois: LCSW, LCPC, LSW, LPC, LMFT, or licensed Psychologist
• Experienced in working with children (approximately ages 3–12) and their caregivers
• Trained in at least one child-focused specialty, such as:
  • Play Therapy
  • Child-Centered or Filial Play Therapy
  • Sandtray / Expressive Arts
  • Autism / ADHD / Neurodivergence
  • Trauma-informed care
• Comfortable collaborating with caregivers, schools, and other providers as clinically appropriate
• Committed to growth, integrity, and excellent client care
• A team player who enjoys collaborating and connecting with other passionate therapists

FT Annual Salary Range: $72,000 – $95,000
Session Rate Range: $54.00 – $90.00
