School Occupational Therapist – OT in the Bartlett, IL area. Qualifications
  • Master s Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
  • IL OT license to practice.
  • Pediatric or school-based experience preferred, fieldwork counts.
  • New grads will be considered if you ve completed a school fieldwork.
Role Overview

As an OT, you will support students in school settings by assessing their needs, developing individualized plans, and implementing interventions to help them succeed academically, socially, and physically. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Job Details
  • Schedule:

    Monday-Friday, 35 billable hours per week minimum.
  • Dates:
    Available immediately through the remainder of the school year.
  • Hours:

    Student hours 7:50-2:10, total position hours will extend beyond these hours.
  • Caseload: general education and self-contained classrooms, one day of early childhood, Gen ed students have mild to moderate cognitive impairments; EC students are in a mixed class of at-risk and special ed students.
  • 4 days per week primarily push-in for self-contained and pull-out for general education kiddos; 5th day will be spent in an all-day early childhood program.
  • In-person only.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess students  motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans.
  • Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in accordance with students  IEPs, helping them achieve academic and developmental goals.
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students  unique needs.
  • Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications.
