Senior Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic team in Bartlett, Illinois. The ideal candidate will bring advanced accounting skills and a strong background in the manufacturing industry to manage financial operations effectively. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with expertise in inventory management and cost accounting.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee month-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to support financial reporting.

- Prepare and record journal entries to ensure proper accounting treatment.

- Conduct account reconciliations to verify financial data integrity.

- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash flow management.

- Utilize cost accounting methods to analyze and control manufacturing expenses.

- Manage asset inventory processes to monitor and optimize company resources.

- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in all accounting activities. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

- At least 3 years of experience in accounting with a focus on accuracy and detail.

- Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is required.

- Proficiency in inventory management and accounting processes.

- Knowledge of cost accounting principles is highly desirable.

- Strong skills in general ledger management and account reconciliation.

- Familiarity with month-end closing procedures and journal entries.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
