Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Bartlett, Illinois. The ideal candidate will excel at managing financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting business operations with their expertise in bookkeeping and accounting. This role requires strong organizational skills, keen analytical abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

- Utilize Sage 300 software to maintain accurate financial records and generate reports.

- Prepare and balance spreadsheets to ensure financial data is up-to-date and error-free.

- Analyze financial statements to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly.

- Respond to vendor and customer inquiries, including collecting payments and addressing concerns.

- Prioritize tasks effectively to meet strict deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.

- Support team members by fostering open communication and collaborating on financial matters.

- Handle incoming calls related to customer or vendor relations with professionalism.

- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure compliance and accuracy in all processes.

- Proactively manage multiple tasks while ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Requirements

- Proficiency in Sage 300 software is a must.

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheet management.

- Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of bookkeeping.

- Strong communication skills to interact with team members, vendors, and customers.

- Self-motivated and dedicated, with a proactive approach to work tasks.
