Scaffold Builder - Outage

This position is for our annual spring outage.

Candidates are responsible for erecting and dismantling scaffolds for buildings and structures.

• Must provide your own tools
• Must clean and prepare work sites, including removing debris and materials in the immediate area.
• Loading/Unloading and inventory of scaffolding
• Ensure a stable base for scaffold
• Erect scaffold poles
• Fixing scaffolding to buildings or structures
• Laying planks for workers to walk on
• Fixing guard rails and safety netting
• Dismantling scaffolding when a project is complete
• Creating different kinds of platforms, from simple scaffolding to complex structures such as suspended scaffolding, cantilever drops and temporary roofs

• 1-2 years or more experience in the erection and dismantling of various types of scaffolds.
• Bilingual is a plus
• Certifications are a plus
• Must be able to work at elevated heights
• Must be able to work in extreme conditions
• Must be physically able to perform heavy lifting
• Must be able to communicate well with others
• Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in writing, verbal, and/or diagram form
• Possess trade-specific hand tools
• Operate trade-specific hand and power tools
