Provide customer service to site staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for a government location;
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location;
Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive activity;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when needed;
Complete detailed reports of incidents, patrol observations, and unusual activity, and communicate updates through approved radio, phone, and/or written channels
