Join Allied Universal at a government location as an unarmed patrol officer, monitoring assigned areas and completing routine patrols to help spot and report unusual activity. You will support access control and visitor flows, remain highly visible, and deliver clear, respectful communication and customer service.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to site staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for a government location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

+ Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive activity.

+ Complete detailed reports of incidents, patrol observations, and unusual activity, and communicate updates through approved radio, phone, and/or written channels.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.

+ Have 1+ years of security-related experience.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
