Overview

Kitchen Team Member role at Love's Travel Stops. Deli Host responsibilities focus on delivering top-notch customer service, maintaining a clean and stocked deli area, and working with the store team.

• General customer service duties, including answering questions about menu offerings and addressing customer needs; assist store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides, including salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Cross-training opportunities in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Physical ability to move and lift 25+ pounds; ability to work in various temperatures.

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to brighten customers’ day.

• $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
