Responsibilities include providing, directing and supervising all aspects of quality patient care, including screening, evaluation and treatment, treatment planning, goal setting, family education and documentation, to assure the best outcome for the patient. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) ensures patient care follows the organization’s guidelines, professional standards and community needs, and complies with Federal and State guidelines. The SLP serves as a patient and rehabilitation advocate for current and prospective patients, coordinates cross-disciplinary care to provide consistent patient care, and participates in quality assurance and customer service activities.
Requirements:
- Master of Science in Speech/Language Pathology
- Licensure or Certification as required by State guidelines
- CPR Certification
- 1 year Speech/Language Pathology experience preferred
- 1-2 years experience in a residential/assisted living or skilled nursing facility preferred
- CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) candidates will be considered
