Johnson’s Veterinary Products Ltd has been caring for the nation’s pets for over 100 years. As a trusted, family-owned business, we supply independent retailers, wholesalers, superstores and garden centres across the UK with high-quality pet healthcare products.

We are now looking for a motivated and personable Area Sales Executive to join our team.

Reporting to the Sales & Digital Marketing Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing and growing sales within your designated territory. This includes developing established retail accounts while proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities. Working to an agreed journey plan, you will balance account management with new business prospecting.

• Drive sales growth across your territory
• Develop and expand existing customer accounts
• Identify and secure new retail opportunities
• Increase distribution of the Johnson’s product range
• Support and execute promotional activity
• Provide strong account administration and reporting via company systems
• Attend sales meetings at Head Office (West Midlands)
• Represent the business at trade shows when required

• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based role
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Organised with excellent time management
• Commercially aware and results-focused
• Flexible and professional in customer-facing environments
• Valid full driving licence and willingness to travel
• Familiarity with veterinary or pet product industries is a plus

Full training will be provided on our product ranges, promotional programmes and company systems to ensure you are set up for success.
