Our client is a producer of innovative packaging films for industrial and agricultural markets, supplying end customers directly from local stock and servicing needs through its UK sales office. The company focuses on product development and innovation and aims to grow with new talent.

The role reports to the UK Sales Manager and is focused on business development and sales of the company’s packaging films to industrial and agricultural end customers. Responsibilities include identifying prospects, selecting appropriate products, demonstrating and quoting, providing usage reports and closing sales. The process is consultative, creating need and demonstrating value.

The role requires 80% of the working week spent visiting prospects and existing customers, with limited foreign travel and overnight stays.

The Sales Executive will also maintain relationships with existing clients, representing less than 10% of the role.

This target‑focused role includes long‑term plans to achieve specific volumes, grow market share and maintain profitability.

• Commercially astute and highly self‑motivated B2B value‑added sales professional, preferably with packaging sector experience.
• Strong knowledge of a broad geographic territory desirable.
• Practical approach required, since products work hand‑in‑glove with machinery.
• Ability to manage a broad pipeline of opportunities across many clients simultaneously.
• Effective time‑management skills and high competency in MS Office.
• Attention to detail and clear, concise customer record keeping.
• Strong work ethic and continuity of employment in previous career.
