SEN Teaching Assistant - Barry - Start After Easter

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive school in Barry, starting after the Easter holidays.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them reach their full potential in a nurturing school environment.

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional learning needs
• Supporting children with SEN such as ASD, ADHD, or learning difficulties
• Assisting the class teacher with adapting learning activities
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
• Helping pupils develop both academically and socially

• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable
• Experience supporting SEN pupils is highly beneficial
• A patient, caring, and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• An enhanced DBS on the updated service (or willingness to obtain one)

• £92.78 per day
• Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
