Position Overview

Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? Do you want to play a key role in shaping young minds within a supportive school environment? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and hard‑working individual to join a primary school in the Barry area as a Teaching Assistant. No prior teaching experience required – just the right attitude and a genuine desire to support young learners.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities
  • Help create a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils
  • Provide a safe and nurturing space for learning and development
  • Offer constructive feedback to encourage pupil progress
  • Promote a child‑centred approach to learning
  • Manage and respond appropriately to challenging behaviour when required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
