Production Administrator – Join Our Growing Manufacturing Team

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Production Administrator to join our busy Production Department in New Holland, North Lincolnshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys working collaboratively across teams.

Reporting to and supported by the Production Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring production schedules are created, maintained, and accurately recorded within our MRP systems. You will also provide full cover for the MDF Planner role when required and work closely with the Production Manager and Supervisors to maintain operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

* Create and issue production schedules, prioritising work orders to optimise production efficiency

* Load and maintain accurate production data within Plant Run and the company MRP system

* Generate and review system allocation reports, expediting requirements where necessary

* Produce status reports on production progress, work in process, wastage, and material usage

* Communicate shop floor updates to management and sales teams, highlighting any potential delivery deviations

* Ensure all production documentation is stored correctly in line with ISO standards

* Manage booking of board loads with suppliers against pre-allocated volumes

* Complete and track import declarations, maintaining audit-compliant records

* Maintain an up-to-date delivery calendar

* Generate and issue purchase orders, process invoices, and maintain accurate inbound stock documentation

* Support Lean and BIT initiatives across manufacturing processes

* Maintain safety software systems and assist with Risk and COSHH assessments

* Maintain Plant Run costing reports and asset timelines, including data input

This role may also involve additional duties as reasonably requested by management.

Skills & Experience

* Strong numeracy and written English skills

* PC literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

* Experience working with MRP systems (desirable)

* IOSH qualification (desirable)

* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (advantageous)
