Overhead Linesperson ApprenticeDo you love the great outdoors, no matter the weather? Are you ready to take on a hands‑on challenge that helps power communities across the North West? Join our Overhead Linesperson Apprenticeship Programme and learn how to safely work at height on our 14,000 kilometres of overhead lines—keeping electricity flowing to homes, farms and rural businesses.
What You’ll Be Doing- Building, maintaining and repairing overhead electricity lines
- Working on wooden poles and steel towers
- Learning to work safely at height with full training and support
- Playing a vital role in delivering power to rural communities
- 🎓 Study for:
- City & Guilds Level 2 Qualification
- Level 3 Power Network Apprenticeship
- 👥 Receive support from a dedicated work‑based mentor
- 📈 Starting salary of £15,700, with annual increases
- 🌴 23 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service)

- 🛡️ Membership to our pension scheme with up to 14% employer contribution
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grade 4‑9 / A*‑C)
