Relief covering nights, days and weekends

We currently have a vacancy for a Relief Security Officer based in Barrow-in-Furness. Having the ability to work independently and well under pressure, a flexible attitude to shift work is something we value highly.

Duties of this role include the use of an onsite vehicle. Due to this, candidates must hold a valid UK driving licence.

• Student Support
• Providing assistance to Campus in regards to class room set ups
• Responding to Fire Alarm activations
• Providing an onsite professional security presence
• Providing a deterrent to criminal activity, theft and anti-social behaviour
• Provide protection for customers, property and staff
• Internal and external site patrols
• Concierge duties

• First Aid trained
• Smart and presentable
• Polite and approachable
• Professional and able to make decisions on their own accord
• Vigilant for anything out of the ordinary
• Punctual & reliable
• Be flexible for work shifts
• Be able to provide 5 year checkable history to complete BS7858 vetting and screening

• Full training will be provided
• 28 days holiday (pro rata for part time hours)
